LOS ANGELES and SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Symmetry Electronics, a global authorized distributor specializing in wireless and video semiconductor products, and Ethertronics, a worldwide leader in antenna technology and products, today announced a global distribution agreement. This partnership will enable customers to bring their RF designs and prototypes right to the bench and circumvent the scope of work, modeling and planning processes which can delay project schedules.

This partnership between Symmetry and Ethertronics will offer faster times to market, expanded network efficiency as well as development of custom antenna integrated circuits. Ethertronics antennas offer the highest efficiencies and performance of any antenna through speed, spectral efficiency, reliability and performance.

Ethertronics delivers high performance “off the shelf” antennas eliminating design challenges and saving time. For highly specialized situations, Ethertronics can also develop custom solutions quickly through its strategically located design centers and technical personnel.

“We are very pleased to form this strategic partnership with Symmetry to enforce Ethertronics’ leadership position especially in the embedded antenna businesses. This partnership shall also expand the customer reach in the exciting, fast growing IoT wireless product market,” said Chen Huang, Deputy General Manager, Americas for Ethertronics.

“Ethertronics is a leader in smart antenna solutions and is a great complement to Symmetry’s focus on wireless technology.” said David Beck, Vice President of Marketing at Symmetry Electronics. “Ethertronics provides our customers a partner that can not only provide solutions for the most complex RF designs, but also improve a customer’s existing performance by using in house equipment to quickly characterize the RF behavior of any system,” said Beck.
