We have officially kicked off our We Know RFduino video contest, and the videos are rolling in! We can’t wait to see all the great ideas that can be powered with RFduino. Videos can be uploaded any time during the month of September; the videos with the most views between September 1, 2014 and September 30, 2014 will be the winners. The winners will be announced on October 1, 2014.
In case you haven’t heard, Symmetry Electronics and its ecommerce site SemiconductorStore.com are running the We Know RFduino video contest, and will be offering a first place prize of a $1,000.00 American Express gift card along with lots of other great prizes. RFduino, the awesome, low-priced uber- mini-board that rocked Kickstarter, is a favorite among developers and hobbyists who want to deploy Bluetooth Low Energy into their projects. The RFduino is a simple to use, high quality, professional grade module that has an ARM Cortex M0 processor and Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy built-in, which enables it to wirelessly talk to any smartphone that has Bluetooth 4.0. All contestants who enter the contest and upload a video will receive a $25 SemiconductorStore.com store credit good for anything at SemiconductorStore.com.
The object of the contest is to create a video based and focused on the RFduino, its shields, and entrants’ creative ideas for applications. To enter, users must submit an original video between one and three minutes long based on and featuring the RFduino. Each video must be uploaded to YouTube and submitted by email to weknowrfduino@semiconductorstore.com for consideration. The phrase "We Know RFduino" must be somewhere in the video title, the description below, or in the video itself with annotations.
