David Owens Appointed as New VP and GM
Fort Worth, TX – January 3, 2025— Braemac, a Division of the Exponential Technology Group (XTG) and formerly Symmetry Electronics in the Americas, has today announced the appointment of David Owens as the new Vice President and General Manager, Americas. Owens, who has been serving as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager, will succeed Keith Nesrsta.
Owens brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having been a prominent figure in the industry for 30 years. His career includes C-suite executive positions specializing in demand creation at notable distribution and supplier companies, such as Future Electronics, Memec Insight and Phoenics Electronics (both now part of Avnet), Nu Horizon Electronics (acquired by Arrow Electronics), and STMicroelectronics.
Owens expressed excitement about his new role at Braemac, stating, "I am honored to become VP and GM, of the Americas. Nesrsta, a prominent player in the industry for over 25 years, has held prominent sales and executive management roles supporting Xilinx and Silicon Labs. As an accomplished Electrical Engineer, he has delivered outstanding value to Braemac, earning the respect and trust of his employees, suppliers, and customers alike. Nesrsta is departing on a positive note to further his career by taking on a role with one of Braemac’s valued suppliers. Over the past six months, he has worked closely with Owens to ensure a seamless transition.
