u-blox AWS IoT ExpressLink Modules and AWS Services Available Through Symmetry Electronics
Los Angeles, CA (July 12, 2024) – u-blox (SIX:UBXN), an industry leader in connectivity solutions, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop two AWS IoT ExpressLink modules–the NORA-W2 (Wi-Fi) and SARA-R510AWS (Cellular) and accompanying evaluation kits USB-NORA-W256AWS and EVK-R510AWS-01 to support accelerated device development, now available through Symmetry Electronics.
The NORA-W2 AWS ExpressLink module series are stand-alone multiradio modules delivering Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth low energy 5 connectivity. It features a powerful 32-bit dual-core microcontroller unit (MCU) and a radio for wireless communication suited for secure industrial IoT and consumer applications. The SARA-R510AWS surface mount module is designed to directly access AWS IoT device and fleet management including 200+ optional AWS services securely over LTE-M2. It has an optimized, easy-to-use AT command set for accelerated time-to-market. It also unburdens the host processor from connectivity and cryptography tasks.
