Signal Conditioning
A signal conditioner manipulates and amplifies an analog signal so that it can be digitized. It does so without producing large amounts of thermal noise, while defining which types of signals the system can accept. By isolating the signal and then reproducing and transmitting it, it increases the signal’s quality. Signal conditioners are used in data acquisition and other industries that require sensors to perform measurements.
