Switch ICs are the electrical analog of a mechanical switch. This simple integrated circuit offers convenient switching based on user input, logical conditions, and sensor levels, activating and deactivating a signal after an event has occurred. Switch ICs offer the easiest way to switch unnecessary circuits from on/off during operation and are frequently used in telecom devices, PoE devices, power distribution, cell phones, ultrasound imaging, security cameras, HVAC, and IoT.
