A Day in the Life

As technical sales engineer with Symmetry Electronics, you will be responsible for developing and maintain customer accounts.  You will be in contact with design engineers, VP’s of engineering CTOs, CEOS and purchasing professionals to introduce our line card and value proposition.  You will recommend technologies and support customers from product selection through production.   You will meet with our suppliers and manufacturer’s reps to target accounts in your region and you will be supported by the latest IT infrastructure, and a team of professionals including product managers, inside business development and ISRs, technical product specialists and an involved and supportive management team.

Our Successful Sales Professionals Possess:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree BSEE or MSEE

E-commerce Marketing Manager

We’re looking for someone with experience in digital marketing/analytics/acquisition. You will communicate to the internal team and our supplier partners, strategic recommendations to enhance promotions, partnerships and campaigns. You will capture and analyze key metrics, provide post campaign analysis and work with the team to optimize performance and ROI for all marketing programs.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Improve eCommerce site conversion rates, increase revenue and expand brand recognition
  • Work independently and with our internal marketing team to understand schedules and objectives, and meet deadlines
  • Create and implement comprehensive digital engagement strategies across paid, owned and earned channels
  • Manage direct channel growth and optimization (i.e., website, consumer emails, sales communication, etc.)
  • Communicate with the internal team and supplier partners to develop promotional campaigns and provide marketing materials
  • Work with external resources to negotiate the expansion of white-hat link building strategy
  • Apply extensive knowledge of analytics tools, CRM, ESPs and Ad-servers (Google Analytics, Google AdWords required, SalesFusion experience a plus) to manage strategies and reports
  • Coordinate creative resources (designers, video editors, printers, etc.)
  • Utilize competitive data to identify new opportunities and improve current initiatives
  • Create and maintain key reports to share with the internal team and shareholders
  • Respond to ad hoc marketing requests from suppliers and internal sales team
  • Build and execute online marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Make data-driven recommendations necessary to improve SEO strategy
  • Identify, track and recommend improvement for key on-site conversion points and (CTAs)
  • Collaborate with internal team and CTO to interpret data for future strategy development
  • Improve usability and content of internal website
  • Manage all aspects of email marketing (planning, scheduling, deployment, reporting)
  • Set up and manage tradeshow events (light travel may be required)


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business management or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in SEO/SEM marketing (products of a technical nature and B2B preferred)
  • SEO experience and current “best practices” knowledge required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, Photoshop/Illustrator a plus
  • Prior experience with website merging a plus
